I spent a lot of time on the three models for this animation, and when I looked back on the rough storyboard that I had created, I found that I was not pleased with it: the animation was short, there wasn't much to it, and I felt the need to add more meat to the story line. So, I did.

The new animation works out to be about 3 minutes long, which is a giant feat, once I factor in the fact that I am doing the animation in cycles, this project suddenly becomes incredibly daunting. To combat that fact, I've decided to split the animation into two parts and then edit them together in after effects so that I have a manageable animations. Additionally, most of the more difficult effects that I am putting in the animation, like water and hair, are in the second and shorter parts of the animation, while the first and longer part of the animation doesn't have to deal with that stuff. Portioning out the animation like this will certainly help me with production, and while this is still a difficult project, I have some ways to ease the load. That being said, I will need to maintain a strict work ethic and a fair amount of the work will have to be done on my own.
